my throat is sore. i have been dosing it with honey & wishing half-heartedly for some whiskey to add to it.
...as for my september resolutions, i seem to have on the one hand failed miserably: i hardly accomplished anything, except for coloring my hair & leaving the house every day. on the other hand: i let go, i let go, i let go, & i didn't need all the resolutions, & i am out the other side getting ready to make tea for this throat of mine & curl up in the blue nest of my bed & watch the new law + order with bean. tomorrow we will make lasagna. tomorrow i will wake up in the dark.
