besides a cr�che with hunting dogs & geese, there is also the Annunciation & what is either the Flight Into Egypt or going-to-the-census (without my glasses i couldn't tell which: baby jesus or no?).

outside it is cold & getting colder, but the sky is blue, & seeing the outline of the houses against that bright blue is just enough to break my heart.

& i walked under the heartbreaking sky, to the precinct & back, but who cares about the elections today? not even bean, who is the kind of gal who carries a copy of the u.s. constitution around with her wherever she goes.
