they finally changed the signboard outside the cathedral downtown. for a couple of weeks, annoyingly, it read
GOD SHED THY GRACE ON THEE, & although i would try to avoid looking at it in the morning, something in it would just
call out to me every day as i went past. cringe cringe. at last this morning i noticed it had been changed to
...HIS GRACE.... on the way home i couldn't wait to pass it to make sure it was true.
(i wish i were going to cleveland with tha boys to eat at soul veg & then to see les savy fav. instead i will do laundry. NB: laundry is less exciting.)
in other downtown news of christian displays, they have already started putting up the extensive, life-sized cr�che outside the auto insurance building. every day there is a bit more shrubbery, a bit more architecture, a couple more figures. the cr�che has not just wise men but also hunting dogs, & geese.
