for bean's birthday i took her to a cabin in the woods & we ate cookies & watched woody allen films & drank cocoa made out of vanilla soymilk plus leftover ganache from the birthday cake.

that was some ganache, you know.

anyway the cabin had a resident cat! she is small & young & white with grey bits, also fantastically, impossibly needy. we went into town & bought tuna for her, & we let her hang out in the cabin all the time. because we are suckers for a friendly cat with a miao that sounds like the word "yeah."
