my right index finger is dyed pink from crystal light. unfortunately it does not taste like anything but regular old index finger. (or, perhaps, fortunately, it occurs to me.)
the other day bean & i took jeff shopping to buy him pants that fit. i am calling this endeavor Queer Girl Eye. shattering the stereotype of the flannel-clad, rattail-sporting, fashion-clueless lesbo, right there in old navy, right there in j crew.
last night in physiology lab i was trying to do a valsalva maneuver without laughing when D leaned forward staring at my necklace & said, "are you catholic?!" she made a face & said "i hope you're not republican too."

i mean, i always hope that just by being myself without talking too much about it, by being a good activist & a woman who reads & knits & goes to the movies & all of that, that people would realize that this is how to be catholic, too. but maybe i should get a t-shirt that says "this is what a catholic looks like," just to challenge you.
also i would like to alter the existing t-shirt so that it says, instead, "GIRLS, KICK ASS!"
