i just wrote a paper on this & as you can probably guess, all my geek pleasure lights are flashing. quick someone fund my education so i can be more than just an armchair linguistics geek, so i can go down & do field research in the rainforest.

i make it sound like "botanist" was high on my list of Possible Careers. when in actuality it has always been far, far below more illustrious positions such as Nighttime Breadbaker & Religious Calligrapher In Drag.
