 vague excuse

17.X.2003 :::: 19.20

bean is having surgery on thursday. it is my job to wait with her overnight bag while she is out out out like a light (light light) until the surgeon comes to find me to tell me everything is okay & MAN wasn't that disc extrusion pretty damn impressive (slow shake of the head, the kind you do when you are duly impressed).

also i have been talking a lot of talk about taking latin next quarter (under the vague excuse that it pertains to medicine) but i found out they're not offering latin I until spring.

also i have befriended a colony (commune?) of perhaps field mice living on the lawn of the statehouse, downtown. they are there eating detritus & grassy things, at dawn. no one else waiting for the bus seems to notice they are there at all. dear person from the government who is secretly reading my diary: please do not exterminate the field mice. i love them.
