doug found my wallet & brought it back to me. this was two days ago but yesterday all i wanted to do was read & kiss people, not sit at a computer. so i spent a lot of time reading.
also i gave in to this very flawed impulse to make cocktails. all my books of course are packed, including the ones with cocktail recipes in them, but i went to the store & bought handfuls of oranges & limes anyway & brought them home & tried to make some kind of pomo mojito & failed. the failed, flawed pomo mojito is still sitting next to the sink with a chopstick in it.
but all of that is not the real thing. the Real Thing is that today is MOVING DAY PART ONE so if you're bored & have a car & want to exchange some hard labor for things like gatorade & pizza & beer & chocolate chip cookies, ring me up.
MOVING DAY PART ONE! in a matter of hours the living room will be empty of boxes.
