i am sleepy & tired � & no that is
not two ways to say the same thing � but i am going to stay up diligently vigilantly writing down a lot of things in red ink in the paper diary with headphones stuck in my ears.
i wonder how rapidly i am deteriorating my own otic nerves by insisting on the headphones at least daily. i wonder if anyone will say it is ironic when i ultimately lose most of my musical-range hearing because of it, given that i've said before i'd rather be blind than deaf (i! the art historian!), & if i will yell at them for misusing the word ironic, when they hypothetically do.
