when i think of all the looting & sacking of the beautiful, old things in baghdad, i start to cry. the AP story i read yesterday said that some of the cuneiform tablets "had never been read."

my entire life seems inconsequential in the face of this.

i got all choked up last night talking about it to bean & the ladies, in between talking about ice cream & watching american idol. i am shameless & in need of perspective.
