bee is back from being in hospital but this is not the point. the point is that while she was there she asked us for reading material & what we had to offer was a stack of reasonably-current
entertainment weeklys. i wanted to take novels but bean disapproved of lending out novels, & that got me thinking of how sad i would be, laid up in a hospital all alone with too little to read.
i have spent the last three days considering so if i am ever in hospital this is what i want brought to me:
any & all moomin books, tove jansson, but especially tales of moominvalley & moominpappa at seajane eyre, charlotte bront�it hurts & blimey!, matthew collingsthe collected poems of frank o'haraany best american poetry [year X] i happen not to have readas much roald dahl as you can carrysome angela carter short storiesatlas, gerhard richteri suppose that will do. please note that i will resist any efforts to be edified by my reading material, & will only sink down into my most favorite comfortable things.
