my great-grandfather once challenged a man to a duel. the man's name was jumbo schrock. after being challenged by the likes of my great-grandfather, jumbo shrock up & enlisted. but my great-grandfather was waiting for him at the station when he came back from his tour, & they fist-fought all the way back into town.
i know this story is true & not just something my family exaggerated because when i was sixteen i met a descendant of jumbo shrock. no kidding.
