this weekend we are cleaning the apartment ceiling to floor (except the ceilings are very high & unreachable even with our ladder). at the end of the weekend we will get dolled up (bean: "
i'm not getting dolled up") & make cocktails & watch the oscars & drink the cocktails.
it is a very exclusive oscar party.
i spent a lot of time thinking about this & i've decided that when i go out, my drink of choice is going to be a gin sling. i'll put up a fight here & say valiantly that no, it's not just because i like the word "sling."
it's not much use, anyway, as pretty much anyone can tell you that i don't go out. except for going to the movies an awful lot.
