bean has this long weekend (tomorrow through sunday) and i have off tomorrow and friday, only half a day saturday, so we are going to have an extravagant time of it, with much use of the le creuset fondue pot, which i highly recommend, also the penguin-shaped martini shaker. making martinis will necessitate a trip to the one good liquor store in columbus, whose proprietors have outfitted it with a giant black+white lop-eared bunny who usually just lurks quivering under one of the wine counters.
also i have been informed that if i do not make biscuits at least once during the extravaganza, i will be abandoned.
