the good things are the rock+roll, the cat perching in my lap, the fading mint on my tongue. did i say the rock+roll?

(today at work i dropped a glass bottle & broke it. fortunately i broke it into the large sink. i let all the unseeable bits of glass go down the drain. i had to stop l_____ putting her hand down into the cloudy water to fish out the glass.)

now i am sitting here remembering the other day when i tried explaining the catch i get in my chest when i listen to a hesitating voice. i'm waiting for the rock+roll to start again.
