there is a penny in the bottom of my locker, & it will stay there either until i leave this job or until someone goes snooping around in my locker, because it (the penny) is face-down, & i'm too nervous to pick up any face-down pennies.

it is knifishly cold outside, still. i am wearing five layers of clothes. i tell you this because you could never tell by looking at me. how do i look so svelte?
