i may be antisocial, & i may be staying home while the whole city is out hopping through the galleries, mere blocks from my apartment, & i may be lame for staying home pretty much every saturday night, art opportunities or no art opportunities: but at least i am productive.
i have made a mix for tec, & i have made a cover & an envelope for it, & i have made curried split-pea soup, & i have made plans for going-out to a movie (the only going-out i like at all: a dark room, a screen) once bean gets home, which should be any any second now.
i listen for footsteps at the door. i smell the soup across the house.
