- also hey i suddenly find that i have bought a lot of paintings, which makes me happy.
- in my lap are these books all of which are open, stacked: the new american bibile saint joseph edition,
- damien hirst on my way to work,
- & the 30th-anniversary issue of interview which is not a book but is thicker than many books i own.
- not enough fruit. i think maybe there are some grapes. maybe i will eat them.
- i've stood up, i've put the books away.
- i like numbered lists, & days-of-the-week underpants, & memorizing the bus schedules, & d.h.'s spot paintings, & the decidedly heian-japan love of the artful arrangement of things like leaves on a stone walkway so that they appear to have fallen there but really are perfectly placed for the trained eye to appreciate.
