last night i went with chris,
mischka, & becca to see
the fellowship of the ring but that is not what this is about. i just don't want to forget that as i was walking home from their house, afterward, when i stepped out of the alley there were two men walking slowly, carefully, just outside my building. one of them was playing the harmonica & the other was singing softly.
when they saw me they stopped. i wish they hadn't. hearing that harmonica, wrapped in my long coat, thinking about cate blanchett's feet for heaven's sakes, i saw the whole world shining even at 11.17 at night at the very end of the season.
