last night bean brought home two dvds she borrowed from work:
titanic 2000 &
the erotic witch project. they are both movies about straight-looking women having sex with each other, made for straight men to look at. she said, "i couldn't pass these up for free!" i shudder to think that we will actually
watch them. the tagline on
titanic 2000 (which is not just about an oceanliner, folks, it is also about VAMPIRES) is, "because a vampire's lust is unsinkable!!"
funny. i never knew that.
& i wonder why the thin plots of porn movies are so weirdly comical. i guess no one wants to watch people having sex in a relentless, flannery o'connor kind of setting.
i spent all afternoon reading wise blood & now i feel utterly inadequate. it makes me at the same time relieved & heartbroken, that i gave up writing made-up things.
