& she says that it is like we are waiting for the next thing to happen to us. i feel the same way i suppose.

i am going to be an aunt, sort of, for the first time in my life, & we sit in the kitchen wondering what the next thing will be, & wondering why we are waiting for it if we don't know what it is or when it is coming.

i am half in love with the boy on the bus & also half in love with the woman who is going to do my tattoo. does that make me a whole in-love?
