a day in which i am slow to action. & i did not go to mass this morning (for no good reason i'll own up to), & this afternoon i just sat + sat + sat in the bathtub while the shower ran over my face. unable to leave my house, unable to leave the shower, wanting out, wanting out.
& just waiting, knowing the days are going to get shorter & shorter. i am in a sweater, wrapped up in the quilt.
my caffeinated heart careening about in my chest. today. today. today.
