tickets to see
kristin hersh at
little brother's are sleeping safely in my little ammo-bag. i would probably be much more excited about this if i hadn't just had a strange breakdown after mass.
i was waiting to cross the street downtown this morning, & on the same street corner was the homeless drag queen, dressed in black & singing lenny kravitz. The homeless drag queen is short, & has dark dark skin, & is thinner than anyone i know, & wears thrift-store women's clothing, & has very ratty extensions, & sings all over town, in a very loud voice.
i guess technically he isn't a drag queen, since he's just wearing thrift-store dresses, & not gowns, & i think he's not homeless either, or at least that is what i hear from a friend of a friend who is apparently his case worker.
anyway i was waiting to cross the street listening to him singing lenny kravitz & when the light turned green he was gone & nowhere to be seen.
&, aside from getting the kristin hersh tickets & freaking out at mass, that is the only thing from today that is worth writing down. maybe i will take a nap.
