today at the north market mischka & i overheard a white woman in a laura-ashley-ish dress asking a man with her, "do they have ethnic food in south africa?"

it is beyond hot, & beyond muggy, & i am afraid i will never be able to turn on the oven again.

but! we have an organic honeydew melon from the co-op, & the complete abfab so maybe i will make it through.
