 (if hers are blue that is)

5.VI.2001 :::: 17.24 st boniface

the woman on this here stamp, affixed to the letter jojo sent me from leipzig, has glasses just like mine (if hers are blue that is). her name is kte strobel, & i guess if i were german i would know who she is.

but today in honor of the birth of francisco pancho villa, all-round revolutionary, i was going to prod monsta with pancho villa, dead and alive (robert motherwell, 1943) so i broke out the art history text & now i am thinking of you.

(here is recko curled on my lap with her paws curled under her. it is like old times.)

today at work queenie (not her real name) my famously loud coworker disclosed to me that she thinks that although she is married she doesn't believe she "was like meant to be having sex with men, period," & i tried not to show my discomfort. i always want all my fellow queers to be cool & interesting, & i am selfishly, elitistly confused when they are not. NB: i don't know if she was coming out to me, although she sounded like she was, & anyway i really didn't enjoy listening to her describe how she has to psych herself up to have sex with her husband ("okay! i'm ready to do this!").

i curl myself over the cat in my lap. i am caffeine-dependent & underpaid but here in this curl everything is perfectly still.
