i feel absurd wearing my long very warm black coat every afternoon on the way home from work, now that it is warm & gorgeous outside, especially since i am wearing the coat
over a hooded sweatshirt, a set of scrubs, & long underwear. but it's just so
chill to leave the house at 6.30. maybe i should buck up: be brave: ditch the coat. without it i'd be more streamlined anyway.
after work i:- went to the poste to mail you-boy a blue package
- went to the old house to give chris a copy of the people oscar-fashion double-issue
- went with chris to fetch coca-cola
- read the letter from tec that was waiting for me in the mailbox along with an unsolicited, pre-approved something from a credit card company
& now i am going to sit on the back deck, at the top of the scary D.I.Y. staircase, & drink this coca-cola & polish off the last of a bag of sunchips & think of you & wait for bean to come home.
