i dreamt that i was sitting on a street corner that was outside my house (which was not any house i have lived in, in a town that was a strange fusion of elizabethtown, louisville, columbus, & tokyo) & reading a magazine with bean. every now & then i would look up at this billboard which had neon orange+pink colorschemes & which said PUEZ next to a big cowboy hat. i
knew that the billboard was really Installation Art & that if i looked at it long enough i would see myself walking to the grocery store. i looked at it, & i did. while i was looking at it, people were coming into my kitchen to see me (again, not my kitchen, & very dark in there) & i was still, mind you, reading this magazine. the article was about the Humana Festival of New American Plays, which is (no kidding, no dreaming) held each year in louisville. there were pictures of actresses with fucking gorgeous hair. there was also a poem which included the names of many trees, & took up an entire page of print. i remember thinking, "i need to photocopy this page with this poem, so i can send it to jojo." i remember showing the pictures of the actresses to bean, who was engrossed in the billboard.
when i woke up i became very annoyed that i had not
a)realized i was dreaming
b)& therefore worked on memorizing the poem so that i could write it down when i woke up
c)because it was really pretty good, or at least dream-ricka thought so. i know it said "ginkgo" but i'm not sure if it said "catalpa."

postscript: today i got a hit from someone looking for "sweet potato as birth control."
also, someone keeps trying to find "miniskirt view," almost daily. mischka suggested i type in, just once, "asian slut fuck" to see what happens. so i did. so let's see. (take that st augustine!)
