postscript about my cat. i think reckoning is my real best friend because she always seems to know when i am Pissed Off With Others, & will climb up into my lap to curl up there & gaze into my eyes adoringly whether or not i am petting her ears. (this goes back to When She Was A Kitten, when candy called her �bitchtits� & she would spend hours in my lap as if she knew that i had Thwarted Maternal Instincts that needed some sort of Direction.)
