i was going to write a long list of all the Things I Have Done (examples include "registered for a biology class" & "seen
chicago" & "eaten falafel without spilling any, last night"), but then this afternoon most of the list, which i had been carrying with me like a novena or something, evaporated while i sat in the recovery room at work, all alone, staring into space & thinking about something that joe millionaire said on this week's show, which was this:

� and how i think that one sentence redeems not only the show, but also me for being the kind of girl who has watched it every week.
